Education
Dr. Marzilli graduated from Providence College with a bachelor’s in psychology and received a master’s at Roosevelt University of Chicago in clinical psychology. He achieved his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Rhode Island, which included a psychology internship at Emma Pendleton Bradley Hospital in Providence. Both URI and Bradley were APA-approved programs.
Experience
Dr. Marzilli has worked for the state of Rhode Island from 1969 to 1972, and as a psychologist for more than 30 years, starting his own practice in 1983 in Johnston, Rhode Island. He also helped develop and worked for 10 years as a psychologist at the Human Resource Institute in Norton, Massachusetts. He devoted five years to Project Alpha, an outpatient drug rehabilitation facility where he served as a consultant
